  Innocenti voluntarily terminated its Lambretta operation in 1972, selling up to Scooters India Limited (SIL). Before that even, as far back as the 1950s, it had sold its soul to Automobile Products of India (API). Since the 1950s Lambretta scooter and parts manufacturing has been alive and kicking in India. There is an abundance of parts (some good quality, some bad) at cheap prices for you and your Lambretta.

  This book tracks all Lambretta production in Italy, Spain and India from 1948 to 2008. It includes the 'New Lambrettas' such as the CMSI American Piaggio engined version and PM Tuning productions. It also mentions small production and assembly plants outside the main production countries. Can be used as a reference catalogue.
