The API Lamby 150
and MAC 175S; Vs the Innocenti LI
150 Series 2.
Overview of bodywork and main component differences.

Component(s) of Indian version |
Compatibility with Italian LI 150 S2 |
Notes |
|
General bodywork. |
Compatible. |
The fat mudguard and the narrow mudguard should be interchangeable and fix to standard drilled API and Innocenti legshields. API legshields may be more rounded at the top than Innocenti shields but the headset ring, beadings and clips are not affected. Both the Lamby 150 and MAC 175S have clip on panels. To fit these to an Innocenti LI series 2, the Innocenti scooter will require removal of the welded on panel lock mountings and fitting of a panel clip plate. |

Engine casing, hubs, wheels |

|
Engine side painted parts. |

The API Lamby Polo toolbox is compatible (fitting) with other Lambretta models but is slimmer and ridged in appearance. API shipped Lamby 150 scooters with a ‘clip type’ air filter hose elbow. |

Speedometer |

See notes above. Fits perfectly with Italian headset components. The Indian speedo cable connection is bigger than the Italian one so you’ll need an Indian speedo cable or bigger (Indian) cable-to-meter fitting screw. Note that the MAC175S shipped with a 120KPH speedo. |
|
Speedometer glass/cover |
Compatible |
The Indian Series 2 shipped with a flat glass speedo cover, whereas the Italian version shipped with a rounded or domed plastic cover. Indian and Italian speedos both accept either cover/glass. |
